Our team

  

We have an experienced team with a wide range of skills and qualifications. Each child has a 'key worker' member of staff who will get to know your child's needs, developmental progress and achievements, and work closely with the parents.

 

Pre-School Supervisor, Vicky Archer is fully qualified with over 20 years experience working with children. Vicky joined the pre-school in November 2005.

Deputy Supervisor, Sara Cook has a diploma in pre-school practice, level 3 and has worked at the pre-school since November 2005.

Senior Practitioner and special educational needs co-ordinator, Chris Oprin is NVQ qualified and has been with use since 1998.

Pre-School Assistant, Fliss Cowdrey is NVQ qualifed and has worked at the pre-school since 2007.

 
 

Our staff have been selected by the Committee and are enthusiastic and dedicated in providing the best possible care and education for your child.  All our staff are first aid trained, hold the necessary police and health checks and have completed a safeguarding course. The Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor have completed a specialist safeguarding course. Staff reguarly attend training courses to further their knowledge and keep up to date with current changes in legislation and practice.  Committee members are also encouraged to attend these training if appropriate.
